Stepping around the neighborhood in Yen Duc, you will see the typical symbols of Vietnamese village such as the banian-tree, the well, and the communal yard. You also feel the rustic charm to see the ponds, gardens, straight lines of areca trees, and flying kites in the wind. 
More interesting, when you come to Yen Duc you can also admire the endlessly extending mountains with fanciful names related to rice-farming process such as Canh Mountain (plough), Dong Thoc Mountain (paddy), Thung Mountain (rice mortar), Cat Mountain (safeguard of the paddy), Rat Mountain (mice eat rice). All the scenery from nature allure for tourists. 

Unique culture

Besides visiting natural landscapes, visitors also have the opportunity to stay in local houses to learn about the traditional house-building architecture, family traditions, the worship of ancestors, and other community cultural activities such as festivals, folk songs, water puppetry. The villagers will show you their traditional crafts of making fans and brooms. You also have a chance to participate in agricultural activities such as gardening, fruit and vegetable harvesting, weeding, and fishing.
 
Stay overnight in Yen Duc, you will get an insight into Northern Vietnamese traditional houses with the custom of worshiping ancestors. The typical housing architecture consists of two main blocks, which are made from ironwood with yard and garden in front of the house. Surroundings are fishponds and flower fences creating a relaxing and comfortable place to live and enjoy.
