Thien Canh Son cave lies hidden in Cong Do Nature Reserve. The entire area of the Reserve boasts about 1,600 various-sized islands, many of which possess small caves inside. The gates to the hidden caves are not always available. Almost water caves are inaccessible because their entrances are under the water. There are only some rare dry caves to unveil the essence of Halong Bay. And luckily, Thien Canh Son cave is one of the most magnificent dry caves that allow tourists to discover limestone structures and biological system within it.
 

How to get there


The path leading to Thien Canh Son cave is almost 100 stone steps, which is a good opportunity to exercise and also promises to bring a satisfactory reward when you reach the destination. The name of the cave has said it all: Fairylike mountains in the heaven - a mysterious wild beauty has been sleeping for thousands of years. To visit the cave, visitors have to hike up the cave entrance, but when you climb there you will be surprised by the beautiful scenery of Bai Tu Long Bay and Halong Bay from above, where to have a panoramic view as well as take beautiful photos.
