ABOUT LUON CAVE

Outstanding structural features

The cave has a unique architecture, the entrance looks like a bow. It is about 60 m in length, the ceiling is from 2,5 m to 4 m in height depending on the tide. In the middle of Luon Cave, there is a blue-water lake that connects to the ocean through a submerged tunnel. The lake with an area of approximately 1 square kilometer resembles a stadium with green stands by four sides. Archaeologists also found freshwater fossil shells here, indicating that this place might have been a valley and ancient people once inhabited there. On the stone cliffs, ferns, palms, and orchid bushes bloom in green create an unspoiled splendor.

Splendid natural scenery
